Pastor Jeff Tyberg has been serving River Cities Christian Church as interim pastor since September, 2011, while we actively search for a new full-time senior pastor. Trained by Youth With a Mission, Jeff helped spread the Gospel overseas as a missionary in Nepal, Japan, Mexico and eastern Europe. More recently, he was interim pastor for another Wisconsin Rapids area church. Jeff and his wife Tetyana ("Tanya") live in Rapids with their daughter Tirzah, and have another child "on the way".
In addition to his gifts as a pastor and preacher, Jeff is talented musically and has written a large number of Christian songs. He has performed at the One Way Cafe and on occasion uses a song to introduce one of his sermons.
